  they say that at charles russell grave site there is a prymid on top i am not sure if this is true but wanted to know more because the pyramid is a sign of for great wealth and i was wondering if deep down he worshiped them.

  Do you support gay marriage?

  So if your family member had molested young girls you would have felt this was better than molesting young boys?!?
  
  That statement makes me sick to my stomach. It truly does. Is "straight" rape less disgusting than "gay" rape?
  
  Gay sex a "violent act", not a "loving act". Again are you watching too many prison rape scenes from the TV show Oz?!? How are what two gay men, or gay woman any different from straight couples. According to Kinsey over 40% of all women have engaged in anal sex w/ their male partners. Because two married straight folks prefer to use an additional orfice for sex, does this make their relationship void because they have committed a "violent" act in your book?
  
  You say that gay people are all in straight people's face. Yet a close friend of yours only recently "came out". Again, is that being "in your face"? So if he keeps it from you, he must be ashamed of his own sexuality and therefore is wrong. If he tells you then he is "in your face" with it and therefore wrong. Do you see the contradiction?
  
  The way I see it, is that your gay friend has now given you a chance to get to know the REAL him. You now have a chance to maybe ask strange questions you've always wanted to. He's trust you. Now you want to turn your back on him and ignore him. You have a chance to really challenge some assumptions. What you do with this opportunity is up to you.
  
  Hopefully, you don't feel this is an attack. You've been brave enough to admit what I'm sure is a very common feeling amongst many who fear gays. Remember, we usually fear what we do not understand. Here's your chance to confront your fear and make a bold step in a new direction. Fear sucks, we lived in fear for way too long as JW's.

  A question for Psychics, Mediums or those that believe in the afterlife

  if it is true as claimed by mediums, that the soul survives death and can come back and communicate with mediums, then has anyone known or experienced a passed over jw trying to communicate?

  if so, how have they reconciled their former beliefs to what they are now experiencing in the afterlife?

  The Chinese torturing cats and dogs by the millions

  it is strange that in this day and age a country like china with a tradition of civilisation going back to ancient times treats cats and dogs as if they are nothing.

  it's not just that they eat them or kill them for their fur but the cruel inhumane way in which the kill them, believing that if they die a painful death their meat will be more tasty.

  not to mention that often they skin them alive as they don't care to wait until they die.

  Again, in the end you end up killing the animal for food. Not much difference in my book. But I have been to a slaughterhouse. One of the reasons I am a vegetarian mainly. I like the taste, just don't agree with the idea of killing for food if not necessary. But to each their own.
  
  Please keep in mind in third world countries food isn't such a casual purchase as it is for us. It's quite literally the edge of starvation for many. Lecturing borderline impoverished folks to inact laws, procedures, and methods that drive up the cost of their food seems cruel to me.
  
  I am heading to Tokyo in 10 days. And yes I will break my vow of no animal flesh....but those damn octupi taste soooo good! LOL
  
  There is a TV special that shows on cable from time to time showing all the various ways of killing animals for food. I saw it in 1998. Quite literally was the last straw in my own quest to eat less / no meat. It shows cattle being hoisted up at the slaughterhouse in a sling...falling off it, quite literally almost breaking in half as they hit the ground. Disgusting.
  
  They show a "Cat House" resturant in Shanghai that cooks cats like lobster. The patrons go to cages and pick out which cat they are going to eat. Freaking disgusting.

  I've been to 4 gay weddings now. 3 at the Unitarian Church. 1 at the justice of the peace.
  
  The mixing of the traditional role of bridesmaids and groomsmen were interesting. Refreshing really. Unique. Not sex roles of women only for the "bride" and men only for "groom", but in the gay wedding both men and women served as attendants. Pretty cool!

  Ever been to a slaughterhouse for livestock?
  
  Ever picked out your lobster of choice to boil alive?
  
  Ever eat octupus? Do you have any idea how smart and intelligent they are?
  
  The list goes on and on......
  
  Food is one of those very cultural things.....I"m not judging you, just trying to point out your own cultural bigotry. That's all.

  This is my "issue" with the gay community. I say...hey, don't call it a marriage, call it a civil union but get 100% of what a marraige provides. This is the #1 most important thing. Then over the next 5 to 10 years as people are comfortable with it, replace the word civil union with marriage. Besides...that part of it will take care of itself.
  
  Can you imagine talking to a co-worker about an upcoming "gay" wedding over the coming weekend, and saying "Yeah, the Mrs. and I have a Unioning to go to on Saturday". LOL
  
  Or secondarily have the government drop the word "marriage" all together, and have all civil unions regardless of sex, and let churchs, justice of the peace, etc, call it marriage or whatever they so choose.
  
  Problem solved.
